Our shelter dog was very anxious about having things done at the vet and the doctors and techs were nothing but kind and patient. Working at our dog’s pace and listening to him to make it the most positive experience. They also encourage happy visits which is a cute idea to make your furry friends not so fearful of the vet and the building!

This place is truly amazing! One of my pet tortoises had an issue with his male parts where he wasn’t able to retract it back into his tail. It was stuck like this for a few days, and since he was a hatchling, he had not had to go to the vet. The good people here were very professional, and the veterinarian was extremely calm and knowledgeable. She offered a variety of solutions, and did her best to inform me while keeping me ease. The entire staff was very friendly, positive, professional, and kind. If your animal is in trouble, I would highly recommend this as a place to get them taken care of. I will certainly be back if any of my other animals ever start feeling unwell. Thank you for a job well done!

I wish the communication was better. Received no written post procedure care instructions besides basic directions printed on prescription medications. Cat needed stitches and I had to ask many questions about basic after care to get answers as there was no guidance. I really think written instructions should be given as not everyone is familiar or comfortable with animal wound care. Not to mention it’s hard to keep track of the details during a stressful situation. Picked up my cat foaming at the mouth after receiving her pain medication. Got a blank stare from the vet tech. Vet herself was pleasant. They were able to get us seen same day which I appreciated. Received a text a couple of days later checking in but they did not respond to my question. Cant fully recommend based on my experience .

Genuinely the nicest vets we have ever experienced. We care about our dog so much and we can truly tell they do too. This was our first visit and we were given the best possible goodie bag! We’re so happy to find a primary vet!

My husband took our pup to get a wellness check since she was having stomach issues. Firehouse was VERY welcoming, especially with us being new to the Austin area. They basically spoiled us. We won’t use another clinic!

Highly Recommend Firehouse Animal Health Center. Everyone we interacted with was helpful and welcoming. Dr Garza was so attentive to our senior cat's condition, and needs, very compassionate and gentle. She really took time to answer our many questions and concerns, and even took time to explain everything after her full examination, and called the next day with the test results and even a follow up email checking in. The atmosphere was calming even though there is construction going on! They will even work with you to help keep the bill down, no high pressure to sales, even have payment options. I am happy we chose Firehouse for our pets needs! Thank you all at Firehouse for making us feel welcome and this experience a pleasant one.

We adopted our dog, Alonso, a little over 2 years ago and did tons of research to find the highest recommended vet. Firehouse very quickly stood out from the rest, and we decided it was officially the vet for us after our first visit. Even though it was over an hour drive for us at the time, I am SOOOO glad we made that decision. Alonso is scared of other dogs and thus is dog reactive and they handle it better than I could ever imagine. They have a private entrance that they always allow us to use, and clear the halls when necessary to move him through the lobby. It is hard to put into words the difference that makes in the general stress of going to the vet!! Dr. Garza takes such good care of our boy, and always makes sure I feel informed with every step of Alonso's care!! All of the staff at Firehouse are kind and thoughtful. I could go on about them until I am blue in the face. All I can say is, Give them a chance! I'd bet my last dollar that you will NOT be disappointed.

Since day one I have always had an amazing experience. My fur baby has seen almost every vet there (lol) and each of them have provided excellent care for him. Dr. Moreman is truly amazing and I am so grateful for her. She answers all of my concerns and questions with no hesitation and with a clear explanation for me to understand. I never have a issue with getting my fur baby in especially if it's an emergency. The office staff is always so helpful and pleasant. Definitely love it here!!
